About this Role

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating front-end loaders dozers graders shovels compactors trucks and other pieces of equipment on various construction sites for Taggart Construction projects

KeyResponsibilities

• The person willbe responsible foroperatingheavy construction equipment which may include front-end loaders dozers graders shovels compactorstrucksand other pieces of equipment based on the companysneeds.

• The person must always perform circle checks of equipment and cleanmaintainand secure all equipment as directed by legislationpoliciesand procedures of the company

• Adhere to workplace safety policiesregulationsand compliances.

• Travel to various construction sites within and around Ottawa tooperatemachinery.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experienceoperatingheavy machinery.

• Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

• A valid drivers license is.

Physical/Sensory Effortand Work Environment

• You work outdoors and on-site in challenging weather conditions.

• Sitting or standing forlong periodsof time atworkstation.

• Workenvironment can be busy and loud.
