An exciting career opportunity is available for a Technical Assistant at our downtown Toronto this role youll provide meaningful support to our dedicated Account Managersprofessionals who are committed every day to thinking bigger delivering better service and achieving outstanding results for our clients.

This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn grow and build a long-term career path toward becoming an Account Manager. Youll be an active and valued member of a collaborative team assisting Account Managers and clients with a variety of tasks and inquiries.

As part of this role youll handle client requests with efficiency contribute to a positive client experience and communicate effectively across teams. Your ability to support broker relations and stay engaged in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.

The Technical Assistant will:

  • Provide administrative support to both Commercial and Personal Lines departments this includes Printing and mailing pink slips processing policy changes issuing certificates of insurance reporting claims and handling billing requests.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the broker management system (EPIC)

  • Follow up with insurance carriers for outstanding documentation and underwriting requirements.

  • Assist with daily office management duties such as ordering office supplies handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages including sorting distributing and processing shipments.

  • Perform general clerical duties as assigned by management.

  • Working towards becoming an account manager.

To be successful as a Technical Assistant with KASE Insurance you will need:

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional (no prior insurance experience required)

  • RIBO license (active in progress or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment)

  • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

  • Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality of work.

The base salary for this position is between $45000 - $50000 annually.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
