Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor Lead

- The Veterinary Lead Clinical Technician Role is a hands-on clinical position that combines daily technician responsibilities with leadership in staff training mentorship and development. This role supports the growth and success of all team members by helping ensure consistent training strong clinical skills and adherence to hospital protocols while continuing to function as an active veterinary technician on the floor.
This position is designed to promote teamwork learning and high-quality patient care through guidance support and collaboration.
Qualifications
Experience as a licensed veterinary technician and leadership experience.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams treatments and surgical procedures.
Daily weekly and monthly management tasks and duties.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate staff and clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.
Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00 based on experience and licensure status.
