DescriptionAt NCSS our 988 Lifeline program provides immediate compassionate support to individuals in crisis. As one of only two 988 Lifeline centers in Vermont we connect with people through phone chat and text ensuring no one has to navigate a crisis alone.
Were seeking a Team Leader who combines strong clinical skills with a collaborative leadership this role youll lead a team that provides direct crisis support and guiding day-to-day operations of the 988 Lifeline program. Youll work closely with law enforcement emergency responders internal teams and community partners to coordinate effective responses while supporting and supervising staff and interns.
Youll also help ensure the program runs smoothly behind the scenes managing scheduling and coverage reviewing documentation supporting staff training and performance and tracking data required by statewide collaboration with the Community Mental Health Services Division Director you may also assist with broader program outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Provide 988 Lifeline support via phone chat and text
- Help lead daily operations including scheduling and team support
- Supervise train and mentor staff and interns
- Collaborate with emergency services and community partners
- Support quality assurance and required data tracking
- May include covering 988 shifts - evenings and weekends - as needed.

QualificationsMasters Degree
Valid license (Licensed Mental Health Counselor Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist) to practice in the State of Vermont or be licensure eligible.
