Systems Administrator Mid Level

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering Cybersecurity Solutions Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity and we are currently searching for a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Mid-Level Systems Administrator.

Description:

• Creates and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
• Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
• Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
• Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
• Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot server issues.
• Administer customer accounts
• Deploy monitoring tools.
• Deploy applications and tools.
• Assist with escalated customer tickets.
• Installation and cabling of equipment

• Requires TS/SCI with FS or CI Polygraph
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
• 10 years experience as a SA in programs of similar scope type and complexity
• 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
• Linux command line system administration (CentOS RedHat Amazon Linux or equivalent)
• Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository
• Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)
• Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus
• Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch Docker Kubernetes Nifi)

Desired:

• Syslog/NxLog
• Nagios or other similar monitoring applications
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl)

Many factors can influence final salary including but not limited to relevant prior work experience specific skills and competencies education and certifications. Final salary can also be influenced by a positions geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates.

The salary Range for this position is:$195k - $225k
