We are seeking a passionate Youth Worker to join our Nambour team on a fulltime contract until October 2026.

In this role you will work across the Circles of Support Youth (COSY) Program and Get Set for Work supporting young people aged 1519 who may be at risk or experiencing barriers to education and employment.

In partnership with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) you will deliver a program that combines accredited training with personalised support helping young people gain confidence build skills and move toward sustainable employment.

• Support young people facing personal social and employment barriers
• Lead operational delivery of the Get Set for Work project
• Develop individual training and personal development plans
• Deliver nonaccredited work readiness activities
• Build strong connections with RTOs employers and community partners
• Maintain accurate case notes reporting and compliance documentation

• Understanding of the issues faced by young people at risk and challenges impacting young people in the community
• Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services Youth Work Employment Services or a related sector
• Experience supporting young people with complex barriers
• Knowledge of labour market pathways and youth employment challenges
• Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
• Resilience empathy and a strengthsbased approach
• Strong organisational IT and administration skills including MS Office and case noting
