MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following specific procedures work patters and routines as outlined in training and orientation the associate will

perform tasks such as:

Mixing solutions for nursing and housekeeping staff delivering supplies removal of garbage stripping floors

as required cleaning windows and lights sweeping and scrubbing areas such as janitors closet service

entrance laundry room dining rooms and elevators performing heavy housekeeping duties and small

repairs.

Performs outside work such as removing snow and sanding or salting as .

Adheres to established department policies and procedures regarding quality management safety

environment and infection control.

Cooperates with other departments in such tasks as transferring residents moving and storing supplies and

moving furniture and equipment.

Participates in committee meetings such as infection control quality management and safety as .

Maintains required records and information as directed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Extensive standing and walking.

Moving equipment.

Considerable reaching squatting kneeling crouching and climbing ladders.

May be exposed to hazards from use of tools and power equipment.

Exposure to biochemical substances and weather conditions.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
