Receptionist

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is a community governed health centre serving identified priority populations in a defined catchment area. The Centre operates multiple sites in Ontario: Forest Kettle & Stony Point Watford and Sarnia. Our interdisciplinary team provides primary health care health promotion and community development services.

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is currently seeking applicants for the following position:

0.8 FTE Receptionist Sarnia
30 hours/week - Permanent

The Receptionist will provide telephone communication with clients and visitors schedule appointments coordinate client flow and clerical duties.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience working as a receptionist in a health care setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and expertise working with the public including diverse and marginalized populations.
• Ability to multi-task and manage frequent interruptions.
• Computer proficiency medical terminology experience with electronic records.
• Understanding of the Community Health Centre Model of Care is an asset.
• Proficiency in French is considered an asset.

Flexible hours of work are required. The incumbent will have regular shifts at our Sarnia site however must be able travel to all sites as required. The salary for this position is $32466 - $38560 (on a six-step grid). This is a permanent position that includes benefits and HOOPP.
