Job Summary

Baystate Health Western Massachusettss premier healthcare provider

and home to Baystate Medical Practices the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Cardiology team in Northampton MA.

*Potential coverage to Greenfield or Springfield if needed

RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Healths Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances answering telephones and faxing medical documents.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time 40 hours a week
  • Monday through Friday 8:30-5pm
  • No weekends No holidays

LOCATION:

  • 325 King St.
  • Northampton MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 6 months in a medical office setting preferred
  • Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST
  • Medical terminology keyboard Microsoft office products schedule systems medical records (electronic and paper) billing basic math language reading and writing customer service

OUR COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay benefits and other recognition programs for our employees. The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
