As a Social Emotional Coach at The Pinnacle School you will provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to students helping them build self-regulation social skills and confidence. Youll work closely with teachers therapists and families to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally.

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in education psychology or a related field

• Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or learning differences

• Calm caring and patient demeanor grounded in professionalism and empathy

• Strong collaboration active listening and communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication tasks

• Availability to work 11 months (this is an 11 month position which includes the academic school year and a 4 week summer program in July)

• Be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

What Youll Do

• Provide one-on-one classroom support focused on academic engagement emotional regulation and social interaction

• Monitor and document student behavior progress and responses to interventions

• Assist students with self-help and daily living skills to promote independence and confidence

• Implement de-escalation and calming strategies to maintain safety and support emotional stability

• Collaborate with teachers therapists and families to ensure consistent individualized student support
