Job Summary

KION is seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical writer to join our team. This technical writing role transforms complex data and information for automation & robotics into highquality technical information that supports both human learning and AI-based applications. Working closely with engineer and product teams the position delivers audiencespecific globally aligned content that strengthens product understanding reduces support costs and accelerates knowledge transfer across the organization. Positioned within the technical training and documentation function this role contributes directly to the companys digitalcontent strategy and offers career growth toward content strategy or knowledge management.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $57375 - $84150 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in this Role:

Createmaintain& distribute technical information

Assemble (and provide) content as audience-specific deliverables within requirementsbrandingand language frameworks

Translate or localize content within standards scope / requirements

Collaborate with engineers product teams and information architects tovalidatecontent resolve gaps and ensure quality across outputs

What We are Looking For:

1-3 years of Technical Writing experience
Clear concise technical writing and editing skills

Familiarity with structured content tools or willingness to learn

Attention to detail and consistency in terminology and formatting

Collaboration and communication withcrossfunctionalteams

Experience in crafting technical or product documentation from engineering data or SME input within automotive robotics or other engineering & software development environments

Handson experience using authoring or content management tools

Experience collaborating with engineers orcrossfunctionalteams to capture andvalidateinformation

Exposure to global content needs including translation or localization workflows

Bachelors degree in Technical Communications Engineering or a relatedfieldequivalent experience may be substituted.

Foundational knowledge of technical writing principles or structured content practices through coursework internships or professional experience.

Certification in technical communication or content development

Physical requirements (i.e.must be able to safely enter and move around production facilities)

This is a global role which requires collaboration with engineers in North AmericaAPACand EMEA regions
