Practicum Monitor – Early Childhood Education Post-Basic

The Role:
As a Practicum Monitor you will conduct weekly on-site visits to observe students in childcare settings. You can adjust the number of students you oversee based on your availability allowing for a balance with your work and personal responsibilities. The time commitment is approximately 1.5 hours per student per week.

- Schedule: We are recruiting for the following practicum periods:
- ECE Post-Basic Special Needs Practicum: June 25thto July 24thand September 21stto October 30th
- ECE Post-Basic Infant Toddler Practicum: August 10th to September 18th
- Compensation: $29-$33 per hour
- Location: Travel required within Vancouver and surrounding areas
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of current and relevant experience as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
- Valid 5-year ECE Certification from the CBC ECE Registry
- Relevant certification related to the practicum being supported (ECE IT and/or SN)
- Strong organizational communication and collaboration skills
