About thisrole

We are looking for a passionate People Leadertoleada team made up of Health Coachesbased in General Practice and Support Workersbased in the community providingrapid targeted brief intervention to people who are experiencing mental distress or who need behavioural advice andsupport.
The service is founded on strong partnershipsparticularly between Comcare and General Practiceand the ability towork as part of a fully integrated multi-disciplinary team.

Whatyoullbe doing

• Regular coaching and mentoring of staff including managing workloads.

• Collaboratingwith the Te Tumu Waiora project team to support the implementation and sustainability of the model.

• Establishingandmaintainingstrong relationships with referrers and stakeholders.

• Monitoringthe sustainability of client support services through evaluation processes.

• Providingregular internal andexternalservice reports including monthly updates.

• Workingin partnership with clients and/or whānau to provide culturally responsive andappropriate supportto improve outcomes and reduce inequities.

About you

To be successful in this role you willhave:

• A significantclinical and/or relationship managementexperienceworking alongside or ingeneral practice settingsand/or
• Experience in the leadership or delivery ofTeTumuWaiora.
• Apositive outlook and a passion to help others.

• Aprovenand solid leadership experience.

• Flexibilityandadaptability and able to make well considered decisions.
• A continuousimprovement mindset actively seeking opportunities toenhanceprocessesand practices.

• The ability toworkeffectivelyunderpressure whilemaintaininggood attention to detail.

• Strongproblem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.

It is preferable for the Team Leader to have:

• The ability to build andmaintainpositive stakeholder relationships.
• Experience of working with people with complexneeds.
• Experience of reporting and compliance.
• Excellent English language verbal and written skills.

Applicants must hold a current full clean drivers license.

You will have a cultural awareness knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the principles of Te Tiritio Waitangi.
