Job Title: Cath Lab Technician (Cardiac Cath Lab Tech)

Location - Bricktown NJ

Shift: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM 6:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support high-acuity cardiac procedures in a cardiac catheterization lab. The role is responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety equipment readiness and accurate documentation throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivery of safe and effective cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms equipment and supplies for cardiac interventions
• Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor and support patients before during and after procedures
• Obtain calculate and analyze hemodynamic data accurately
• Maintain procedural logs documentation and imaging records
• Ensure proper handling labeling and storage of medical imaging materials
• Monitor and maintain inventory supplies and equipment readiness
• Identify equipment issues and initiate corrective actions or repairs
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection control standards
• Educate patients pre- and post-procedure

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Experience assisting with cardiac interventional procedures
• Familiarity with sterile technique and cardiac procedural workflows
• Experience with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support

Preferred Experience:

• Permanent pacemaker implantation procedures
• Mac Lab experience
• EPIC EMR familiarity

Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Radiology certification required
• IABP certification required
