Job Summary
The Chivukula Laboratory in the Center for Genomic Medicine (CGM) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a motivated enthusiastic candidate to join our group as a research lab technician level II (RT).We involve RTs in all aspects of the scientific process: theory experimental design execution interpretation and figure preparation. Prior RTs have gone on to prestigious graduate medical and nursing school positions following their tenure and training in the laboratory.
Please note the functions below are representative of major duties that are typically associated with these positions. Specific responsibilities may vary based upon departmental needs. Similarly not all duties that have been outlined will be assigned to each position.

Essential Functions
-Executes protocols of non-routine experiments.
-Assists PI with determining the most suitable methodology.
-Performs basic design and modification of protocols.
-Calculates transcribes and analyzes data.
-Prepares and presents reports.
-Organizes and summarizes acquired data using scientific and Statistical Techniques.
-Participates in the design of experiments or field work.
