Position Overview
Lead execution of engineering and capital projects from pilot scale through commercialization
Drive project schedules budgets and technical deliverables
Partner with engineering R&D and operations to expand pilot operations
Play a key role in future large-scale facility development
Individual contributor role with opportunity to grow as the organization expands

Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle including scope timeline and cost control
Drive cost containment and prevent budget overruns in a startup environment
Coordinate vendors contractors and external engineering (EPC) partners
Support equipment design including fixed and rotating equipment
Contribute to plant layout plot planning structural support and piping integration
Oversee pilot facility expansion efforts
Support long-term planning and execution of commercial-scale manufacturing facility

Qualifications
Proven experience leading execution of engineering or capital projects
Background in startup environments or process scale-up/commercialization highly preferred
Strong track record of managing project costs and budgets
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Chemical Engineering also considered
8 years of relevant project engineering or project management experience
Experience in process manufacturing environments (chemical mineral pulp/paper or similar industries)
