Position Overview:

As part of the Quality team the role of Quality Systems Coordinator involves tracking maintaining and providing information related to Quality Assurance ensuring effective use setup and functionality of quality systems. The coordinator maintains and coordinates QMS systems (EQMS QC2 OBMS) and supports internal and external audits in alignment with ASQ principles and organizational audit requirements including audit preparation maintenance of quality documentation and tracking of corrective actions to support compliance system effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates compliance to quality system and organizational requirements including:
    • Document control
    • Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
    • Internal and external audits
    • Nonconforming material and product control
    • Deviations and containment activities
    • Incident investigation and root cause analysis
    • Supplier management support
  • Supports and organizes audit activities including:
    • Assisting with audit planning preparation and execution
    • Supporting internal customer and thirdparty audits
    • Collecting and maintaining audit evidence and records
    • Tracking audit findings corrective actions and followup activities
    • Supporting verification of corrective action effectiveness
  • Drives process improvement initiatives using structured problemsolving and quality tools (e.g. Yellow Belt methodology ASQ practices)
  • Trains and supports team members on quality systems processes and tools to ensure consistent application and effective use of data
  • Communicates effectively with crossfunctional teams and leadership while modeling Brunswicks core values
  • Generates reports and metrics to support audit readiness quality performance monitoring and management reviews
  • Manage and supports quality systems including EQMS QC2 and OBMS systems
  • Ensures suspect or nonconforming boats are placed on quality hold to prevent shipment when required
  • Supports implementation of new quality system modules tools or programs
  • Works to improve quality system usage data integrity and compliance performance for the assigned facility
  • Meet KPIs for safety
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Understanding of basic quality tools and structured problemsolving techniques
  • Knowledge of quality systems and datadriven quality processes
  • High proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Project management skills including planning and execution
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring quality records and systems are accurate and current

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) or similar quality certification
  • Prior experience supporting quality audits or compliance activities

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to high sound levels welding processes moving forklifts elevated loads and close quarters. Travel 5%

The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.50 - $28.92 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
