Product Support Engineer Mid Level (Maintenance)

The Boeing Company is seeking to hire a Product Support Engineer Mid-Level (Maintenance) to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle WA facility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model type
• Evaluate impact of service bulletins mandatory changes customer options engineering change memos part drawing changes and part interchangeability updates
• Make changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)
• Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration management
• Investigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requests
• Draft coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)
• Coordinate with other engineering groups supplier management program management finance and other on-site Boeing support groups
• Communicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of Boeing

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 years of related work experience with engineering requirements and processes
• Ability to read understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2 years of experience in Production Configuration Management
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems develop solutions and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
• Experience working with suppliers and customers
• Experience with PDM CAPP REDARS PSDS IVT WIRS VELOCITY ENOVIA MyBoeingFleet SRP STEPS
