Broadreach Recruitment is working with a specialist fleet operator in the luxury marine and road travel business.
We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a stable close-knit workshop team maintaining a high-value fleet of specialist vans.
This is a workshop-based permanent role offering consistency quality work and a strong work/life balance - no shifts no nights no weekends as standard.
The Role
Youll be part of an established maintenance team responsible for ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest DVSA and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Vehicle servicing in line with company policy
Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)
MOT preparation and presentation
Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
Accurate completion of inspection reports and records
Supporting roadside breakdowns when required
Maintaining safe tidy workshop practices
You may also assist with light commercial vehicles as workload allows.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV or PSV maintenance
Minimum 5 years industry experience
Strong understanding of DVSA compliance
Confident with mechanical and basic electrical systems
Able to work unsupervised and take ownership
Desirable (but not essential):
PSV licence
Welding experience
Fleet or coach operator background
