Introduction
The Maryland State Retirement and Pension System (MSRPS) administers benefits for over 397000 members including active employees retirees and vested participants across 12 retirement systemssupporting the financial security of Marylands public servants.
Located in Baltimores Central Business District MSRPS offers a purpose-driven workplace with modern amenities including panoramic city and harbor views renovated common areas upgraded elevators and an on-site café.
The internship is expected to last May-August the dates are flexible depending on the students schedule.
The position is telework eligible.

Main Purpose of Job
The Digital Media Intern (Content Creation) will support the development of educational materials for members of the State Retirement and Pension System. This role will focus on creating clear engaging and accessible content to help members better understand their benefits retirement options and key processes.
POSITION DUTIES
This position will learn and assist with:
- Support the development of educational materials for members of the State Retirement and Pension System.
- Creating clear engaging and accessible content to help members understand their benefits retirement options and key processes.
- Assisting with the planning development and editing of training videos webinars and other digital resources
- Support live or recorded webinar production including presentation design
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for those seeking academic credit
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Communications Digital Media Marketing Instructional Design Film/Video Production or a related field.
Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in digital content creation including video production graphic design or multimedia storytelling.
- Basic proficiency with video editing and design tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro Canva Camtasia or similar).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
