Short-Term Caregiver – Rancho Santa Fe, CA

A private household in Rancho Santa Fe CA is seeking a Short-Term Caregiver for a short-term assignment (approximately 36 weeks) to provide light personal assistance and household support in a semi-formal home environment.

This is a part-time live-out position with a flexible daily start time between 9:00 AM 11:00 AM depending on the clients schedule and doctors appointments.

The role is designed to support recovery with the expectation that care needs may decrease over time as independence improves.

Caregiving Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing and shower preparation

• Help with making the bed and maintaining daily routines

• Provide light respectful support while promoting independence

Household Support Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping (kitchen reset wiping surfaces general tidying)

• Handle laundry folding and organization

• Assist with dinner meal preparation

• Help with unloading groceries

• Maintain a clean organized and calm home environment

Driving & Scheduling Notes

• Driving may be required for appointments and errands

• Candidate must have a reliable vehicle and strong driving record or be comfortable driving the clients vehicle

• If driving is not provided schedule and responsibilities may adjust accordingly

• No care needed on Wednesdays or Thursdays

The ideal candidate is a calm respectful and detail-oriented caregiver who understands how to support without being intrusive.

Qualifications include:

• Prior experience in caregiving or companion roles

• Comfortable assisting with light personal care and daily routines

• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal prep

• Quiet gentle demeanor; not overly talkative

• Professional polite and highly respectful of personal space and preferences

• Must be extremely mindful of environmental sensitivities

Important Health & Environment Requirements

The client has severe sensitivities. Candidates must not use or be exposed to:

• Any scented products (perfume lotions deodorant shampoo etc.)

• Tobacco or smoke exposure

• Alcohol or strong odors

Strict adherence to a scent-free clean environment is essential.
