We are looking for a Director of Specialty Deposits in Irvine CA.This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the banks Specialty Deposits strategy operations and team while supporting growth compliance and complex customer needs.
Essential Functions:
- Directs and coordinates the salesmarketingand operational activities of Specialty Deposits (law firms class action fiduciary banking escrow companies title companies 1031 Exchange accomodators property management firms community associations and other similar businesses) to customers and prospects.
- Provides bank-wide leadership and support for the development of new business and sales strategies.
- Provides guidance and advice to officers promoting and structuring specialty deposits throughout the bank.
- Identifiesandrefersbusiness lending opportunities.
- Developsimplementsand revises marketing and operational policies and procedures.
- Provides leadership and direction in solving complex customer and regulatory challenges.
- Stays current on tax legislation and other requirements related to specialty deposits.
- Responsible for hires transfersterminationsand performance evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires aBachelorsdegree in Business Finance or other related field and 10 years of banking senior level managerial business development sales strategy specialty deposits or otherdirectly relatedexperience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of business development salesbankingand bank products.
- Expert knowledge of fiduciary banking serving escrow companies title companies 1031 Exchange accommodators property management firms communityassociationsand other similar businesses.
- Must have exceptional communication customer servicenegotiationand management skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to work with various bank departmentsmanagementand customers to build strong relationships.
- Requiresa considerableworking knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information tocurrentrole.
- Applies advanced principlestheoriesand concepts.
- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $250000 - $300000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
