Stuart Hall School is an independent Episcopal day and boarding school in Staunton VA that serves students in grades 6-12. The School is currently seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to serve as both an Enrollment and Digital Engagement Officer. This dual role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the schools growth by assisting in the enrollment process and helping to showcase our vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in welcoming prospective families managing enrollment efforts and engaging constituents through social media in ways that foster connection and strengthen school spirit.
Position Highlights
The Enrollment & Digital Engagement Officers responsibilities include:
Enrollment Officer
- Attend admission fairs and events on behalf of Stuart Hall School both domestically and internationally.
- Meet with families and key constituents on behalf of the enrollment office.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families regarding campus visits interviews and shadow days.
- Support recruitment initiatives including outreach and event participation.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports for admissions tracking.
- Collaborate with faculty staff and student ambassadors to enhance prospective student experiences.
- Assist with daily operations of the enrollment office.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist with the execution of admissions-related events including open houses information sessions campus tours and yield events.
- Create coordinate and maintain social media presence for the school.
- Maintain and update event registration systems track attendance and generate reports for analysis.
- Support the enrollment team with application processing data entry and communications.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve event engagement and conversion rates.
Responsibilities outside of Enrollment role could include based on candidate interest and school need:
- Leading or facilitating a co-curricular program or serving as a coach for an interscholastic or club team.
- Involvement in the residential life program either as an on-campus resident serving as a Dorm Parent or Campus Support which includes a weekly duty night and a rotation of weekend duties throughout the school year or as a member of the Weekend Duty Team which includes leading or chaperoning weekend student activities periodically throughout the year.

- Bachelors degree in education communications marketing public relations or a related field.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in google platforms and basic data entry systems (experience with Finalsite Enrollment is a plus).
- Social Media experience - even if limited in scope familiarity with different platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Willingness to learn school-specific policies procedures and admission guidelines.
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with prospective families students and community members.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for open houses school fairs or special events.
- Valid drivers license required as well as ability to pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel around various parts of the school building and campus. Some areas of the historic main campus are only accessible by stairs. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to allow employees to perform essential duties.
Preferred Qualifications (absences will not harm application)
- Experience with managing official social media accounts and overseeing social media plans.
- Experience working in an independent school.
- Candidates with previous experience and/or interest in boarding schools including living on campus and being part of the Schools residential life program will receive strong consideration.
