Description
An Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining cars trucks SUVs and other vehicles. Your main duties include:
- Diagnosing concerns: Using tools to identify potential problems with vehicles.
- Repairing Systems: engine systems brake and steering systems electrical and electronic systems transmissions fuel components and cooling systems.
- Performing Maintenance: Conducting emissions inspections safety checks vehicle examinations.
- Customer Interaction: Explaining repairs and issues to drivers providing excellent customer service.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensuring a clean safe working environment.
- Test Drives: Holding a valid state drivers license for conducting test drives.
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Relevant education and training in automotive technology.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- ASE certifications A1 thru A8
Salary Description
$52000 to $84000
