Lead Technician Job Description

• Minimum of 2 years of field experience and
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification required and one of the following:
  • IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) or
  • IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD)

• Communicating the restoration process clearly to customers
• Providing daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence
• Assessing job severity and evaluating the extent of damages
• Understanding and promoting the companys operational systems including:
  • Company CRM
  • Xactimate
  • Mitigate
• Training new employees on technician responsibilities and company procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
• Wearing the company-provided uniform as required
• Fostering a strong team culture among field operations staff and across the organization

• Following all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures and standards
• Understanding and adhering to restoration procedures including:
  • Water damage restoration procedures
  • Mold remediation equipment and procedures
  • Fire and smoke cleaning tools and procedures
  • Carpet cleaning equipment and procedures
• Demonstrating a positive team-oriented can-do attitude at all times
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time while delivering excellent customer service
• Maintaining all equipment and vehicles in a clean safe and serviceable condition
• Remaining available for emergency response work 24 hours a day 7 days a week as needed

• Possess a valid drivers license and safely operate company vehicles
• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work for extended periods in both large and confined spaces
• Wear appropriate respirator equipment for extended periods
• Pass a respirator fit test and medical evaluation
