Job Summary

RATE OF PAY: $17 - $18 per hour

SCHEDULE: M-F 6:30am - 2:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs the mowing and maintenance of City owned properties as well as lots that are cited by Code Enforcement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected: Responsible for mowing trimming trash removal and brush removal on Code lots City Lots and City Cemeteries Operating digital camera taking pictures after cutting the property as well as filling out daily paperwork. Related Park maintenance duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. High school diploma or equivalent education required.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Effective communication skills
Ability to complete work in a timely manner.

CERTIFICATES LICENSE REGISTRATION:
Valid Drivers license required.

EQUIPMENT: Riding Mower push mower weed trimmer blower truck trailer and digital camera iPhone tablet portable radio.

Specific vision abilities required in this job include visions and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet and moderately loud in the field. The employee is frequently exposed to cold wet and humid conditions. Smoke free environment.
