Position Title:Medical Biller
Position Summary & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team this role you will be responsible for charge entry and processing patient registration managing patient aging reports and handling patient inquiries via phone. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the medical claims follow-up process and be proficient in assisting with patient balance collections.
Experience with Practice Management Systems is essential and proficiency in Epic and Athena is highly desirable.

Primary Required Skills:
- Experience with electronic/clearinghouse billing software
- Ability to use health plan websites to verify benefits and address claim issues
- Proficiency in processing charges and patient payments
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Minimum of three years of medical billing experience preferably in a fast-paced high-growth environment
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller with in-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures
- Proficiency in ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
- Strong understanding of insurance guidelines and claim submission processes
- Knowledge of health plan benefits and patient eligibility
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong commitment to attendance and the ability to fulfill an on-site role
