Qualifications:
Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Language: Must be bilingual in Spanish (Required).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in psychiatric evaluation diagnosis treatment planning and medication management. Comfort with hybrid/telepsychiatry modalities.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (Spanish/English) cultural competence empathy strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care to patients.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medication management and therapy.
Conduct hybrid sessions including both in-person and telehealth appointments.
Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within the multi-specialty practice.
Maintain accurate timely and compliant medical documentation.
Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients.
