Ingredion is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to drive our commodity purchasing and risk management strategy across North this highly visible role you will shape how we manage commodity exposure safeguard profitability and enable informed commercial and operational decisions across the U.S. and Canada.
Role Summary
As Sr. Director Commodity Purchasing and Risk Management North America you will lead endtoend commodity procurement and risk exposure management for key agricultural inputs including corn feed meal and oil. This role reports to the Vice President AgriBusiness and provides leadership across hedging forecasting analytics and governance to ensure alignment with Ingredions financial operational and strategic objectives.
What You Will Do
- Lead the companys commodity purchasing and risk management activities across the U.S. and Canada ensuring alignment with corporate risk policies and financial objectives
- Oversee daily hedging strategy execution including futures cash ownership and hedge ratio management
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all commodity positions forecasts pricing curves and risk metrics supporting the Net Corn Commodity Risk process
- Partner closely with physical corn procurement agribusiness sales hedge desk and commercial teams to support marketaligned decision making
- Support and influence the US/Canada Commodity Committee by providing insights scenario analysis and risk mitigation recommendations
- Own gross and net corn forecasting processes across planning cycles (Goal Latest Estimate and operations)
- Act as a subjectmatter expert for commodity risk management systems and data platforms including CTRM tools SAP BW and Power BI
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Agriculture or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in commodity procurement risk management or agribusiness within a complex matrixed organization
- Deep knowledge of agricultural markets supply & demand fundamentals and derivative instruments
- Proven experience leading hedging strategies and managing largescale commodity exposure
- Strong analytical financial acumen and executivelevel communication skills

$220200.00-$293600.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
