Design Professional II Landscape Architecture

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Modify or create implementation documents applying standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
• Collaborate on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
• Assist in preparing client presentations and present project design intent
• Perform product research; assist project designers with material selection and system research
• Support research of code and zoning requirements
• Attend on-site visits field reviews and client and/or project meetings and document these visits as appropriate
• Assist in preparing schedules and review implementation documents and samples as needed
• Communicate with other disciplines vendors and contractors to incorporate information into design project requirements and documents as needed
• Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplines

Qualifications:

Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Design Intern Landscape Designer or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years with the following:

• Landscape Design;
• Adobe suite such as InDesign Photoshop Illustrator and Powerpoint;
• 3D Modeling / Rendering Software such as Lumion and Enscape;
• Creating Architectural Drawings such as Plans Site Plans Elevations Sections and Axonometrics;
• Drafting / Modeling in documentation software such as AutoCAD and Revit; and
• Utilizing Sketchup and Rhino
