Temple Health Chestnut Hill Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit a 20-bed inpatient program dedicated to the compassionate high-quality care of older adults with acute psychiatric needs. This is a faculty role within the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University offering the opportunity to combine meaningful inpatient clinical work with academic engagement while practicing in a supportive community hospital environment.
The SBHU provides short-term inpatient stabilization for older adults experiencing conditions such as depression psychosis bipolar disorder and anxiety. Our interdisciplinary team emphasizes patient- and family-centered care education and thoughtful discharge planning to support long-term recovery and continuity of care.
Located in the picturesque Chestnut Hill neighborhood this role offers the rare blend of mission-driven care academic access and lifestyle balance supported by the clinical educational and research resources of Temple University Health System.

Candidate Qualifications
- MD DO or foreign equivalent
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)
- Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred
- Eligibility for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA prior to start
