Sr. Tech, Production & Calibration 1st Shift

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement supply chain management quality assurance employee safety and engagement and environmental commitment.

Product Test & Calibration sets up aligns monitors and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware ovens and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose troubleshoot repair and maintain mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment including disassembling rebuilding and replacing parts.

• Report complex issues and recommend equipment modifications.

• Set up adjust and optimize automatic and semi-automatic machines to ensure quality production including adjusting components feeders and controls.

• Prepare and maintain accurate production and maintenance records.

• Adhere to all safety regulations (e.g. EH&S OSHA ISO 13485 GMP) and company policies.

• Participate in safety initiatives report hazards and potential unsafe working conditions complete required training and maintain powered lift certification.

• Assist with operating machines as needed and maintaining hand tools in good working order.

• Consult with designated individual on electrical malfunctions or repairs for course of action.

• Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed.

• Perform other duties as assigned including working overtime as required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred

• High School diploma GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience preferred

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to bend reach stoop lift and stand for entire shift

• Maintains appropriate licenses training and certifications

• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues

• May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments

• Adheres to all quality guidelines

• Works with limited supervision

• Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor

• May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members

Anticipated hourly range: $26.30 per hour - $37.50 per hour
