| Job Description: | The UF Health CancerInstituteis the 72nd NCI designated cancer center and the onlyone at a public university in the State of Florida. As a matrix cancer center we spanallof the University of Floridas 16 colleges pulling together a world-class multi-disciplinary membership of over 350 faculty and 150 staff to address the challenges of the cancer burden faced by the population we serve as we work together to find a cure. As anApplication Database Administratorat the UF Health CancerInstitute(UFHCI) you willbe responsible forthe development and implementation of the Institutes custom resources and tools to analyze and display the Institutes data assist in critical analyses and enhance reporting capabilities design and management of data systems for the Institute. In your new role you willbe responsible forthe following: - Selecting and applyingappropriate analyticalmethods to answer questions and test hypotheses as specified by clinicalresearchers administrators and clinicians.
- Designing coding testing implementingmaintaining and supporting application software for use by Administration and leadership.
- Identifyingand analyzing problemstestingand debugging code and troubleshooting applications.
- Drafting technical documentation (designs specifications systems processes etc.).
- Learning and applyingbest ofbreed industry standards of analysis and development methodologies and for data management and quality control.
- Retainsa high levelofexpertisein data management techniques as well as university business processes through training opportunities and individual research.
