What this job involves:

Join our team as an HVAC Technician supporting Koch Incs world headquarters campus in Wichita this critical role youll ensure the optimal performance and reliability of sophisticated HVAC and mechanical systems that keep this major facility operating smoothly. Youll work with cutting-edge equipment including chillers boilers cooling towers and building automation systems while contributing to JLLs reputation for operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Operate maintain and repair critical HVAC equipment including chillers boilers cooling towers air handling units heat exchangers pumps valves and VAV boxes to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency

• Respond to mechanical problems by troubleshooting issues performing repairs and documenting actions through electronic work order systems ensuring timely resolution and clear communication

• Execute predictive preventative planned and reactive maintenance activities while conducting regular equipment rounds and service requests in accordance with CMMS maintenance plans

• Monitor and operate systems safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with government regulations standard operating procedures and all applicable codes and laws

• Interpret blueprints specifications and equipment schematics to perform visual and operational inspections make equipment adjustments and recommend performance improvements

• Collaborate with maintenance team members engineers vendors and customers to create a positive team environment while maintaining clean and safe work areas

• Participate actively in technical and safety training programs properly use and care for tools and instruments and comply with departmental policies for hazardous material storage and disposal

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma and completion of trade school or apprentice program with 5 years of experience in HVAC systems and building engineering

• EPA Universal 608 certification and valid drivers license

• Strong technical background in machinery operation plumbing electrical systems and equipment repair and maintenance

• Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints electrical schematics equipment specifications and operations & maintenance manuals

• Experience with building and system controls along with basic PC skills and common interoffice communication applications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. climb ladders work at heights crawl kneel stoop and work in confined spaces while wearing required PPE

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through oral and written reports

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical licenses (state or local)

• Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

• Experience developing and improving preventative maintenance programs schedules work instructions and standard operating procedures

• Proven ability to work independently while following appropriate escalation protocols

• Experience working in large commercial or industrial campus environments

Salary/Comp:$33 to $44 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $2000
