What will you do
You willhave the opportunity to support any of the following analytical activities:
LaboratoryOperational Excellence: Support all routine laboratory operationaltasksto ensure smoothday-to-day operations andexecution ofanalytical activitiesaligned with project timelines.These operational tasks includeequipmentmaintenance preparation of reagents/ chemicals/ materials foranalyticaltestingandliaisonwithexternal vendors.
Data-Driven Insights and Recommendations:Support the generation ofanalytical data of drug substances/ intermediates to drive high impact data-driven recommendations for the developmentoptimizationand transfer of vaccines manufacturing processes to improve right first-time performance product quality robustness costsavingsand manufacturability.
Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis:Work with equipment vendorsandsupporttroubleshootingofanalytical equipmentmethodsand out-of-trend results ensuringtimelyresolution with effective corrective and preventive actions to minimize business impact and keep projects on track.
Data Lifecycle Management:Ensure thoroughcompleteandaccurate documentation of all laboratory procedures and data including standard operating procedures workinstructions protocols reports laboratory notebooks technical memos rawdataand risk assessments.Maintain compliancewithGMP and GLPrequirementsensuring data traceability and easy retrieval.
Champion for Laboratory Safety and Sustainability: Support environmental health safety and sustainability activities for the laboratory. Ensure a safe laboratory working environment and inspection readiness of the laboratory through regular safety GEMBA(s) and risk assessments for all analytical activities carried out.
What will you learn
Acquireknowledge on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP) Good Documentation Practice (GDP) Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)and data integrity (DI)/ ALCOA principles with application of thisknowledgeas an Analytical Scientist in training.
On-the-job (OJT) training on analytical laboratory techniquescommonly used for the analysis of vaccines intermediates and final products as part of quality control and process development.
Understand analytical equipment validation principlesand maintenance ofanalytical equipment to ensure reliability and data quality through change management preventive maintenance and calibration (PMC)andperformance verification.
Carry outnon-routine characterizationof vaccine intermediates and final productsdata interpretation and reportingtosupport commercial validationand filingof newvaccinesproducts.
Develop awareness ofcommercialvaccines manufacturing processesthrough plant tours.

Technical competency and laboratory skills in pharmaceutical sciences/biological sciences/chemistry and analytical sciences.
Enjoy working in a laboratory environment and thrive in activitiesrelated to analyticaltroubleshooting problem solving and root cause analysisto meet business needs.
Excellent inter-personal communication skillsenjoy working and collaborating cross-functionally and across global teams.
Curious agile adaptable to change and able to work under time pressure.
