Plans organizes directs and controls all production activities to ensure that the pro-
duction of goods and/or services meets volume quality and cost requirements within
the established timeframe in an efficient manner.
4. Job Duties and General Responsibilities
Manage through subordinate supervisors all production activities applying
knowledge of plant layout and production capabilities of each department.
Be directly responsible for the production program and efficiency levels ensur-
ing compliance with quality requirements and controlling scrap levels.
Formulate negotiate and manage departmental objectives and budgets as
well as strategies and action plans to achieve them.
Validate and authorize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to pro-
duction activities.
Promote and maintain effective interdepartmental collaboration and communi-
cation.
Perform personnel evaluations and implement disciplinary actions when re-
quired.
Participate in identifying training needs for personnel under their responsibility.
5. Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree preferred. Technical degree high school diploma or equivalent may be considered depending on experience.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Languages: English: Not required.
