Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with a leading engineering organisation as we hire a BIM Technician / CAD Technician for our client based in Dungannon. This BIM Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technical team working on a range of engineering and construction projects.

The successful BIM Technician will support engineers and project teams by producing high-quality CAD drawings and technical documentation while contributing to the design and delivery of innovative projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision problem solving and working within a fast-paced project environment.

The Role

Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and other design software
Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project specifications and technical requirements
Assist in preparing technical documentation and project reports
Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle
Attend project meetings to provide design progress updates and resolve technical queries

The Person

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential and Revit is preferred
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices
Experience producing technical schematics is desirable
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet project deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs
