The Opportunity:
Were looking to fill an opening for an Internal Communications Coordinator to join our team and contribute to communications that advance Avisos strategic priorities while cultivating a unified collaborative culture.
Reporting to the Manager Internal Communications the Internal Communications Coordinator helps plan and deliver content campaigns and events that keep employees informed inspired and connected. The Coordinator builds strong relationships across the organization to ensure communications are timely culturally aligned and supportive of a positive engaged employee community.

What your day looks like:
Content creation & editing
- Write edit and publish clear engaging content for internal channels including the Aviso intranet Viva Engage posts and announcements newsletters and employee spotlights
- Support internal communications plans by contributing to message development preparing content coordinating timelines and ensuring alignment with program goals
- Coordinate translation of content as required
Channel & campaign support
- Maintain and update the Internal Communications editorial calendar ensuring timely delivery of planned communications and initiatives
- Upload content edit pages and coordinate updates for the intranet and Managers Centre
- Monitor engagement metrics and share insights to help refine content and improve employee experience
Event & stakeholder support
- Support the planning and delivery of enterprise-wide events such as Town Halls webinars and employee forums including content development logistics coordination and pre- and post-event communications
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather information clarify key points and translate complex topics into concise employee-friendly content
- Support ongoing internal communications initiatives and projects as required
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Post-secondary education in communications public relations marketing journalism or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in communications marketing or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format
- A collaborative proactive solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels for different internal audiences and channels
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute communication activities from concept to completion
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Experience with web publishing tools (WordPress or other content management systems are an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook Word PowerPoint Teams Viva Engage SharePoint)
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
- Familiarity with or interest in the financial services industry is an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $55000 - $65000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
