Job Title

About your role:

You will join a technology team responsible for supporting enterprise mainframe applications that power Fiservs core financial services this role you will apply deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills to ensure system reliability performance and compliance in a fast-paced SLA-driven production environment.

What youll do:

• Modify test and support mainframe applications using COBOL JCL (DB2) and CICS in an IBM z/OS environment.

• Review application designs and source code to assist with testing debugging and production readiness.

• Code and test high-priority and critical changes in support of business and operational requirements.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to maintain stability and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including root cause analysis and defect correction.

• Collaborate with remote and cross-functional team members to deliver reliable application support.

• Provide regular project and task status updates to project managers and related stakeholders.

• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation to support ongoing application maintenance.

Experience youll need to have:

• 6 years of software development experience.

• Hands-on experience in an IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environment.

• Proficiency with COBOL JCL and DB2.

• Experience deploying fixes in SLA-driven production environments.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Experience in creating technical documentation.

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• DB2 utilities IDCAMS SyncSort File-Master CICS.

• FTP / NDM file transmission.

• REXX Endevor Clarity Jira.

• Microsoft Outlook Word Excel SharePoint.

How youll work:

• On-call rotational support.

• Use of Computer and audio equipment required.

• Per contractual obligations must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain an extended background check.

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado Hawaii Illinois Nevada Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
