Job Summary

Plan travel or exploration itineraries and arrange transportation or transportation of individuals or groups to the destination.

Assemble and test necessary equipment and supplies such as camping gear rafts life jackets fishing gear and food.

Guiding or escorting individuals or groups and advising on safety and emergency measures techniques and use of equipment.

Provides guidance for activities such as canoeing rafting and rock climbing.

Advice on specific regulations such as hunting and fishing laws and boating regulations following environmental guidelines and preventing violations.

First aid in case of an emergency.

Can prepare collective meals and set up camp.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED preferred.
Experience in a similar role.
Feel free to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Strong creative and socializing skills.
Knowledge of specific terrain or waters demonstrated ability in guided activity and related permits are required to be employed in this group.
A certificate of first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) may be required.
