Job Summary

Job Title: Salesforce Lead

Location: Toronto ON
Work Style: Hybrid


Role Description

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives requirements as-is and future-state processes and pain points.
  • Conduct workshops interviews and requirement gathering/refinement sessions with Product Owners architects and technical leads.
  • Identify and propose optimal Salesforce out-of-the-box solutions; where gaps exist recommend appropriate custom solutions in collaboration with technical and UX teams.
  • Prepare and present materials to the Salesforce Design Authority for review of problem statements and solution options ensuring alignment between business and technology teams.
  • Perform proof of concepts (POCs) and impact analysis on existing Salesforce processes configurations and data; present findings and options to Product Owners.
  • Create functional artifacts including refined epics detailed user stories ready for development and functional documentation (e.g. Confluence pages).
  • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and lead squad refinement sessions.
  • Support QA by defining functional scenarios clarifying requirements and reviewing test cases against business needs.
  • Assist in defect triage and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead.
  • 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale in highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of banking workflows customer lifecycle product lifecycle and financial compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and integrations with core banking systems and data platforms.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and effectively engage with executives senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings.
