Looking for a Developer to join our Application Development this role you will help build enhance and support modern scalable applications that drive our Life Insurance and Group Benefits operations. Youll collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver secure high-quality software solutions that help Canadians achieve financial wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

Design develop test and maintain applications using C . Core and related technologies.

Build highquality RESTful APIs and backend services.

Implement cloudready and cloudnative designs using Azure services (Functions App Services Service Bus Key Vault etc. if applicable).

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality maintainability and security.

Systems Integration Enhancement:

Integrate applications with internal systems such as policy administration claims underwriting and CRM platforms.

Modernize or onprem applications to improve performance and architecture.

Collaboration Delivery:

Work closely with Business Analysts QA Engineers DevOps teams and Product Owners in an AgileScrum environment.

Contribute to sprint planning backlog refinement and solution design discussions.

Support Maintenance:

Identify troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Optimize application performance and scalability.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

3-7 years of hands-on development experience with C .NET Core MVC Web API Experience with MS SQL Server stored procedures and query optimization.

Strong understanding of OOP design patterns and SOLID principles.

Experience working in AgileScrum development environments.

Knowledge of CICD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or Jenkins).

Familiarity with source control using Git.
