Job Summary
Involves operating equipment on the product line. Must keep the product in spec while still maintaining a high-quality product. Invoices leadership skills. Must be able to keep accurate and legible records. Having a maintenance background is a plus but not essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Responsible for ensuring that the product being packaged is in spec and working with the QA and Granule Operators to make a quality cost-effective product
- Check scales and tote weights at the beginning and during the shift
- Responsible for meeting all QA specifications on all finished products including physical attributes as well as proper labeling for all totes
- Precise note and date keeping
- Responsible for housekeeping and general appearance of the agglomerate line and the surrounding area
- Check at the start of shift and during product changes that the tote date code stickers etc. are correct for the product that they are running
- Practice good safety practices at all times
- Keep the Food Service supervisor informed of progress and/or problems
- Complete other responsibilities deemed necessary by the supervisor
- Responsible for accurately measuring ingredients and recording traceability information
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work well with the supervisor and other employees
- Excellent housekeeping/sanitation practices
- Ability to analyze troubleshoot and correct situations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must not be allergic to dust or chemicals
Job Types: Full-time Permanent
Pay: $24.21-$24.38 per hour
