This role requires a hybrid work schedule based out of one of our office locations: Austin TX; Irvine CA; or Akron OH.
TheSenior DevOps Engineerwill bedirectly responsiblefor leading the design and delivery of automation frameworks infrastructure standards and cloud services. Qualified candidates willdemonstrateadvanced technical aptitude the ability to evaluate trade-offs and long-term maintainability and a strong propensity for learning new tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with development architecture and security teams to deliver new services and features while influencing broader technical direction and ensuring operational excellence for Restaurant365s SaaS platform.

- Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead design and implementation of automation frameworks and provisioning standards.
- Mentor engineers on best practices for automation CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
- Provide oversight on technical implementation to ensure scalability maintainability and security.
- Represent the DevOps team as a technical leader in cross-functional projects and reviews.
- Present solutions and recommendations to stakeholders influencing technical direction.
- Execution & Collaboration
- Architect and automate infrastructure in public cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) with a security-first mindset.
- Build and manage containerized environments (AKS EKS ECS Kubernetes Docker).
- Design andmaintainCI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CDArgoCD).
- Utilize scripting and automation tools (Terraform Ansible YAML Python Bash PowerShell).
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring capacity planning and incident response.
- Implement and adhere to security policies; research and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Partner with delivery teams (goal ratio 3:1) to provide DevOps support including infrastructure automation CI/CD pipeline delivery and reliability best practices.
- Collaborate with developers architects vendors and IT to deliver reliable SaaS services.
- Maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure standards and automation.
- Stay current on infrastructure trends and recommend adoption of emerging technologies.
What youll need to be successful in this role:
- BS in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 610 years of related experience in DevOps infrastructure automation or cloud engineering.
- Provenexpertisein Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python Bash PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services (e.g. AKS ECS/EKS Functions/Lambda S3 ALB/ELB).
- Proficiencywith CI/CD tools (GitLab GitArgoCD).
- Advanced Linux engineering skills and solid Windows administration experience.
- Familiarity with web server technologies (Nginx Apache Tomcat).
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and ensure long-term maintainability.
- Recognized as a technical leader with significant contributions to complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical solutions to cross-functional teams.
- AWS or Azure certification preferred.

- This position has a salary range of $132000-$198000 annually. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including but not limited to relevant skills/experience time in the role business line and geographic location.
