Role Overview
The Supply Chain Procurement Functional / TechnoFunctional Consultant is responsible for end-to-end functional ownership of procurement product implementations translating supply chain and procurement business requirements into system-ready solutions. The role focuses on procurement process alignment system configuration testing integrations data migration and customer enablement ensuring successful implementation and adoption of procurement platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Requirements & Solution Design
- Lead procurement-focused requirements gathering through client workshops process walkthroughs and stakeholder discussions.
- Understand and document procure-to-pay (P2P) processes including sourcing requisitioning procurement contracts supplier collaboration and invoicing touchpoints.
- Translate procurement business requirements into functional specifications configuration designs and solution blueprints.
- Validate procurement solution feasibility and alignment with best practices and product capabilities.
Product Configuration & Functional Setup
- Perform functional configuration of procurement products (ERP or SaaS-based) based on approved business requirements.
- Configure procurement workflows approval rules master data structures supplier-related setups and policy controls.
- Validate configuration against real-world procurement scenarios and expected business outcomes.
- Support iterative refinements based on functional testing and client feedback.
Testing SIT & UAT Support
- Prepare and execute procurement-specific test scenarios covering sourcing buying receiving and procurement compliance.
- Support SIT and UAT cycles including defect triaging root cause analysis retesting and defect closure.
- Coordinate closely with technical integration and QA teams to ensure end-to-end procurement process validation.
Integrations & Data Migration
- Support procurement-related integrations with ERP finance inventory supplier systems and third-party platforms.
- Perform functional validation of data flows such as suppliers items contracts purchase orders and invoices.
- Assist in procurement data migration planning validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Client Interaction & Workshops
- Lead and participate in procurement solution workshops design reviews and working sessions with business users.
- Act as the functional point of contact for procurement stakeholders clarifying system behavior and resolving functional queries.
- Ensure alignment between procurement business expectations and system delivery.
Training Demos & Enablement
- Prepare and deliver procurement product demos walkthroughs and user training sessions.
- Conduct dry runs and final demos for leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Support user enablement to drive procurement system adoption and process adherence.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Create and maintain procurement functional documentation configuration guides test scenarios and user manuals.
- Support structured knowledge transfer to internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure long-term solution sustainability.

Required Skills:
Experience & Required skill: Minimum 5 years plus in similar role. Degree and Procurement certification achieved (i.e. CIPS). Experience working for an FMI ( Financial Market Infrastructure) is preferable. Coaching experience required. Knowledge skills and abilities / competencies required for successful job performance Knowledge Procurement and Supply Chain in-depth knowledge Contract Law and legal knowledge relevant to Procurement activities Experience of applying Procurement skills and techniques to positively disrupt business strategy and outcomes. Proven track record in taking ownership for resolving issues within Procurement environment. Excellent Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain complex and multiple business stakeholder relationships.
