Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide personalized care and support to clients in theClawson MI area. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in a safe and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with mobility and transferring using safe techniques
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications
- Compassionate patient and respectful attitude toward clients
