What Youll Do
As aMedical Biller youll play a vital role in ensuring seamless billing operations and financial accuracy. Youll be responsible for:
- Performingcharge entry confirming patient registration and processing claims
- Managingpatient aging reportsand assisting withpatient balance collections
- Handlingpatient inquirieswith professionalism and empathy
- Following up onmedical claimsto ensure timely reimbursement
- UsingPractice Management Systemsin new and inventive ways
- 3 yearsof experience in medical billing preferably in ahigh-growth or fast-pacedenvironment
- Strong working knowledge ofmedical billing proceduresinsurance guidelines andclaim submission processes
- Proficiency inICD-10coding systems and policies
- Experience withelectronic/clearinghouse billing softwareandhealth plan websites
- Strong computer skills includingMicrosoft Excel and Word
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellentcommunicationandproblem-solvingabilities
- A self-starter mindsetable to work independently meet deadlines and maintain a strong commitment to attendance
