We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support human subject participation and regulatory compliance in research studies at the MRI Research Division in the Radiology Department of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA. The CRC will support research studies including NIH and industry funded research protocols as well as the day-to-day operations of the Translational MRI Research Core.Current studies include evaluating and optimizing techniques for MRI assessment of brain perfusion glymphatic function and structure as well as improving a new technology for quantitative imaging of myelin.
We are looking for a team player who would enjoy working with an energetic and diverse group of researchers on both scientific and clinical aspects of research.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruiting screening scheduling and consentinghuman subjects
Preparing human subjects and assisting to position them on the scanner
Monitoring research protocols and working with research staff to accomplish research goals
Administering point of care tests such as pregnancy and creatinine tests to human subjects
Administering cognitive and behavioral assessments to human subjects
Collecting and entering data at study visits
Maintaining and organizing study records procedural documentation and standard operating procedures.
Preparing and maintaining regulatory documentation
Performing quality assurance scans and quality control for point of care test supplies as required
Interfacing with current and potential users of the Core to plan and perform studies at the MRI Research Core
Reviewing and approving new study applications at the Core
Conducting and arranging MRI Research Safety training
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.
0-1 year of related work experience required.
Medical terminology.
Working knowledge of computer systems required including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint or Access.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas identifying issues and respecting team members.
Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients visitors staff and external customers in a professional service-oriented respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Physical Requirements:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the hospital campus.
Pay Range:
$19.23 - $28.37The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
