Position Overview:
The Digital Product Director - SAP Finance is a senior leader responsible for driving the digital transformation of Finance through strategic product management modern system design and strong crossfunctional partnership. This critical role is accountable for the overall SAP Finance experience through developing owning and driving the respective digital product vision strategies architecture design execution and delivery within this domain. Partners with Corporate Function leaders to define and execute digital product roadmaps that modernize business processes and enhance operational performance. The Director leads a highimpact team and collaborates closely with Digital & IT (D&IT) and global Finance stakeholders. This role reports directly to the SVP Chief Digital & Information Officer and is a member of the D&IT Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Systems Ownership & Transformation Leadership
Lead the endtoend Finance Systems Transformation roadmap aligning SAP S/4HANA OneStream and related applications with enterprise financial strategy operational excellence and future-state capabilities.
Drive Finance technology modernization initiatives ensuring alignment with best-practice SAP FICO processes (Record-to-Report Order-to-Cash Procure-to-Pay Asset Accounting Product Costing COPA and Consolidation).
Partner with Finance leadership and the Finance Process Owner to define future-state standardization harmonization and automation opportunities across all global Finance processes.
Serve as the accountable owner for the SAP Finance architecture including enterprise structure chart of accounts design fiscal calendars controlling area governance cost center hierarchies and master data integrity.
Own SAP security governance for Finance ensuring appropriate segregation of duties (SoD) user roles workflow approvals and audit-compliant controls.
Ensure adoption of SAP standard FICO capabilities before considering custom development to support maintainability and long-term scalability.
Manage and prioritize the Finance enhancement backlog coordinating with Finance IT and implementation partners to assess value impact and timing.
Ensure all Finance-related changes are properly tested documented validated and communicated prior to deployment.
Translate Finance functional needs into clear application requirements leveraging consultants and integrators to design and deliver highquality solutions.
Own finance application incident management partnering with AMS support consultants and internal teams to resolve issues identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Provide expert-level SAP functional guidance for key Finance cycles (period close asset capitalization cost allocations FX revaluations inventory valuations profitability reporting and consolidation).
Ensure uninterrupted financial reporting and close processes across all finance applications including integrations data loads mappings and validation.
Define and enforce Finance master data governance including COA stewardship cost/profit center governance asset classes and reporting attributes.
Ensure strong internal controls within SAP including workflow approvals audit trails and compliance with SOX GAAP and internal policies.
Oversee data quality across SAP and connected systems by establishing standards for ownership cleansing and ongoing monitoring.
Oversee Finance IT documentation including process flows functional specifications test scripts and solution architecture artifacts.
Oversee integrations between SAP OneStream data warehouses and other edge solutions ensuring complete accurate and timely financial data.
Manage product budgets resource planning and expected results; ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
Assess competitive and industry trends to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.
D&IT Operational Leadership
Establish and maintain internal operational cadence for D&IT ensuring effective communication collaboration and accountability across the organization.
Partner with leadership to define and update KPIs; coordinate reporting and performance tracking.
Manage departmental budgets including allocations forecasting and labor planning.
Lead preparation of standard organizational updates including Monthly Operations Reviews and longrange planning cycles.
Maintain central communication channels and organizational repositories (Teams) including rosters org charts budgets and planning materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Computer Science Business or related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience working with Technology and Business Strategy; with significant ownership of SAP Finance systems
Minimum 7 years in a Product Management experience partnering with Senior Level Business Stakeholders
Deep expertise in digital transformation product lifecycle management and finance systems
Ability to lead collaborate influence and coordinate activities in a cross functional team-oriented environment to deliver technology applications or technical products
Demonstrated results establishing a product vision and road maps that led to successful business value
Strong analytical strategic and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Technical aptitude to evaluate requirements and collaborate with business analysts developers and IT partners.
Proven ability to thrive in a fastpaced growthoriented environment.
Experience with scaled agile frameworks (e.g. LeSS) is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hybrid working model (3 days in office/2 days WFH).
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $184000 to $225000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
