Weiler Labeling Systems is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to design program and optimize automation solutions for our highâspeed labeling machines. This role is handsâon collaborative and critical to delivering reliable cuttingâedge equipment to our customers.

Are you intrigued by this work

• Develop & implement PLC and multiâaxis motion control programs for advanced labeling systems
• Create clear documentation to support assembly testing debugging and longâterm servicing of equipment
• Collaborate crossâfunctionally with automation electrical and mechanical engineers as well as sales teams and customers to fully define project scope and requirements
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software components that best fit each projects needs
• Troubleshoot & optimize complex automation systems to ensure performance reliability and scalability

Base Salary Range: $120000 - $140000

• Education: BS in Electrical Controls Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: 7 years in controls engineering with a focus on motion control and highâspeed automated machinery
• Proven experience in multiâaxis motion control programming
• Skilled in structured text programming
• Handsâon experience with B&R Automation Studio (required)
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OPCâUA Powerlink Ethernet/IP
• HMI programming experience (required) ideally with B&R mappView and Allen Bradley FactoryTalk SE/ME
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues
• SQL database experience (plus)
• SCADA / MES experience (plus)
• Resultsâdriven with high standards
• Organized able to set priorities and track progress
• Teamâoriented collaborative and willing to share knowledge
• Strong communicatorprofessional in listening speaking and writing
• Analytical problem solver with a structured approach to identifying causes and generating solutions
